about

Josh Rosenblum is currently one of the most successful Modesto area arteests. He's won a MAMA award, he's played in and won stuff through Valley's Got Talent, newspapers feature his photo on the regular, he's signed to a local label, etc etc etc... and chances are if you ever hear him play live you'll automatically fall in love with his music. He wrote this one in 2009 and kept it in his set for about a year or so. When I first heard it I really dug it and after like the third or fourth time I asked him if I could cover it, and so he sent me the chords to it.

from Tell Me Why Should I Fake It in Firecracker Lounge?, released December 27, 2012
Written by Josh Rosenblum, who three years ago gave me permission to cover this one. Much like "Firecracker Lounge", it took a while for me to appropriately Vallerandize it, and Josh too dug this cover.

Dan played his Ibanez electric through his chorus amp (for the rhythm guitar), his Harmony electric through his practice amp (for the slide guitar), his Yamaha bass, his electric drumset, and did some vocal jenk on this one.
