about

Back in September, Quote Your Pulse held submissions for a Halloween covers album. As I was beginning to go into another musical slump around this time, the opportunity to record stuff I liked somehow perked up my spirits enough to, by the deadline, submit a few obscure covers and even my take on a friend's song. None of them made it onto the compilation though, and looking back, it was probably for the better... I didn't have as much time as I wanted to be able to churn out something really good due to work-related obligations, but I did my best with what I had at the time.

After not recording anything for a month, the idea to make a local acts cover EP hit me in the shower, and so I decided to pair up the local act cover I sent in with three other local acts' songs I knew. Once again, I found myself not having enough time as I wanted to be able to get it done by Christmas, but I found a way. Try it, you'll like it!

This is the first in a series of LOCAL ACT COVERS EPs. Don't forget to support the original arteests, go to all their shows, and spend all your money on their music!
